Kenny Bee is cursed by a man who hated his dad, which makes him involuntarily repel women when they are near him. Carol Cheng, having just broken up from a lousy man, finds Kenny charming but wierd. It revolves around comedies from them maintaining this relationship.

There is not much of a deep plot line to expect in this nonsensical 80's comedy. It is typical to the kind of movies being churned by Wong Jing. It is overly exaggerated with artificially created setups. The jokes are okay, nothing spectacular, and not too bad. Just bare bones.

The main leads in the movie all perform well. They help us remove focus from the lacklustre plot. Kenny Bee is amicable and simple and Carol Cheng performs well. Alex Man's style is well suited to the role of the modern Buddhist psychic. Although his appearances is quite limited it is a bit more serious.

The number of characters are a bit too many, while most of their interactions are undeveloped. Including interactions between Carol and Kenny's mom Tang Pik, the appearances of Alex Man, and Chingmy Yau is reduced to a sorta cameo. Nat Chan's bit although less, we can be glad it doesn't take more of the time. His juvenille humour is quite boring. The movie as a whole attempts to be fresh in the ghost comedy genre but it ends up being a bit shallow.

The Production quality is good and visuals are surprisingly well done and effective for the period.

Overall, its an average comedy with good production values but slow pacing that could have done much more with better script involving better character interactions. It is largely enhanced but the acting. But still would not recommend to watch unless you like any of the main cast or just need something running screen on the side.
